Richard Orr is a percussion educator, performer, and music producer from Akron, Ohio. A graduate of Firestone High School, he currently serves as a battery instructor at Brunswick High School and is in his second season on staff with the Rogues Hollow Regiment. Richard also works with M3 and matrix open as a snare tech, helping develop young talent in the marching arts community. 

Richard has marched six seasons with Matrix Performing Arts, performing with both Matrix Open and Matrix World. He is also a performer with 216Stix, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ official percussion ensemble, bringing high-energy entertainment to games and events across Northeast Ohio.

Outside of the marching arts, Richard is active in music production and works as a drummer for various artists across different genres. His passion for both live and studio music continues to drive his growth as a versatile and well-rounded musician.
