Jimmy Lyons is currently an undergraduate student studying chemistry with a concentration in environmental science and physics at Ohio University. Music is a subject Jimmy remains involved in, as they recently played with the Ohio University Marching 110 during the fall of 2023. Their dedication went much further when they received a contract to become a member of the Music City Drum Corps, competing in Drum Corps International’s World Class 2023 season. Jimmy is an alumni with Rogues Hollow Regiment, where they performed on the mellophone. Their music journey began at Highland High School in Marengo, OH, where they were introduced to playing a variety of instruments ranging from the electric bass to the mellophone. Teaching became an interest to Jimmy after their wide exposure to different marching bands and drum corps to help others reach the next level.
