CARL DIEFENBAC

Carl Diefenbach is originally from Wintersville Ohio but now hails from Lewis Center Ohio and is retired from the US Army after 31 Years of service. He is currently the international trainer for RFID operations for a local company. Carl also owns C-Bach Music and Design and is a regional sales representative for Fruhauf Uniforms.
Carl marched in the US Marine Drum and Bugle Corps from 29 Palms California. He then marched in the Velvet Knights Drum & Bugle Corps in 1985 when his Marine contract expired. He joined the US Army and did tours with Army Bands in Fort Drum, NY, Hawaii, Aberdeen, MD, and Washington, DC. He ended his Military Band career as the Stage band/Rock Band director, marching band director, and drum major with the 122nd Army Band in Columbus Ohio. Later finishing his career in Operations.
His drum corps and marching band staff experience include US Marine Drum & Bugle Corps (29 Palms), US Naval Academy Drum and Bugle Corps, Velvet Knights, Capital Regiment, Forte Drum and Bugle Corps, Kingston Grenadiers, Rochester Crusaders, Sunrisers, and many marching bands and winter guards in the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, and Texas. Carl is also a consultant with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps from Casper Wyoming.
Carl started judging marching bands and drum and bugle corps 20 years ago. He has judged DCI, DCA, and many marching band competitions across the United States.
