Billy is a student at the University of Akron, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. He most recently completed his internship at Phantom Fireworks, where he designed fireworks packaging and advertisements. He continues to design for RHR’s Media Team, and is involved with miscellaneous freelance work.

Before Billy’s involvement with the media team, he graduated from Mars Area High School in 2021. He participated in the Mars Area Marching Band for 5 years. He also participated in their indoor drumline group, Mars Indoor Percussion, for 5 years. After high school, Billy went on to participate in the University of Akron Drumline for 2 years on snare, with a co-section leader position in 2022. He also has indoor drumline experience with Cap City 2, a WGI Percussion Independent Open class group.

Outside of college classes, Billy has taught at Cloverleaf High School from 2022 - 2024. He also taught their indoor group, Cloverleaf Indoor Percussion, from 2023 - 2025, serving as assistant percussion director in 2024 and 2025. His most recent teaching endeavors place him back with his alumnus, Mars Area High School, for their 2025 fall competitive season.

Billy joined RHR in 2022 on snare, and marched with the corps up until 2024. He is very excited to continue designing for them, and hopes his work expresses the corps mission statement and it's ever-growing culture.
