
EPHRAIM MILLER
Brass Arranger/Composer
Ephraim Miller is a trumpeter, composer/arranger, bandleader, and jazz educator based in Northeast Ohio. He has serves as an arranger and instructor with the Rogues Hollow Regiment since 2017, and has held several roles throughout the years working with the brass, visual, and design programs. Miller brings a unique vision to his arrangements through a lifelong passion for America’s original art form and his decade of experience arranging for large ensemble.
Miller holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Jazz Studies Department at Kent State University and a Master’s degree in Music Composition from the University of Akron. His compositions and large ensemble were featured as a part of the 2025 University of Akron JazzWeek Festival.
Since completing his education, Miller has been an active performer and composer in the NEO music scene. You can find him performing with the Akron-based Duer Ct. Rhythm Section and Ephraim millers Birth of the Cool.
