ASHLEY STOKES

Visual Tech

Ashley Stokes had her first season with Rogues Hollow Regiment in 2017 and has been in multiple sections since then including tuba, euphonium, color guard, and drum major. Ashley is excited to join the educational staff of RHR once again in the visual caption. Early in life, Ashley had a lot of experiences with movement including ballet, show choir, and theater. All of these experiences set a nice foundation for helping others learn how to move in relation to the space around them, especially when set to music. In Ashley’s marching career, she spent 4 years at Fairless High School, 5 years with The University of Akron’s marching band “Ohio’s Pride”, and 6 seasons marching with Rogues Hollow.

While at the University of Akron, Ashley studied tuba and took lessons with Professor Emeritus, Tucker Jolly. Outside of working with Rogues Hollow, Ashley is still a performer playing tuba in both the Cuyahoga Falls Community Band and the Akron Pops Orchestra as their principal tuba player.
